Malmasjön is an epic Tench venue, a bit of a trek, though worth the effort. Andy Shaw and his father spent the day here float fishing with prawn, hoping for some action. They had five fish in total to around 5lb on a very enjoyable trip. The lake is choked with weed in late summer, so we will have to try and get there earlier in the season next year. The lake record is over 9lb, which is huge by Swedish standards, so this lake certainly deserves more attention...
