1lb 6oz. from the lake this afternoon in blazing sunshine...Much sunnier conditions today, a scorcher of a day in fact. Spent the whole afternoon and early evening fishing at the lake and must of caught a couple of hundred small perch on the worm before resorting to float fished live baits in the hope of a bigger fish. Two takes soon followed, one fish coming off, the other landed and weighed in at 1lb. 6oz, a really nice fish. Would like to spend more time at this lake as I feel it could hold some very big specimens due to the huge numbers of small fish in the lake for Perch to grow big on...
